I've definitely had my moneys worth of this game. I've had this game since I was 12 and it's been 6 years since then. It is a game constantly updating and being improved. If you're looking in the long run, $75 is worth it. And this game IS targetting towards children and young girls, I don't suggest this game for a modder as all you would do is criticize it (like you've just done lol). it gives more value to the items and makes you value the items more when you work hard for them.
Thirdly, the items in-game aren't that expensive. Star Rider or not doesn't affect your speed. It takes a few days for the horse to be fully happy again. To know that you've successfully cared for your horse a little banner will come up on the top right hand of the screen saying "Your Horse's name has been cared for" or something along those lines.
Whereas feeding, brushing, hoof picking and watering your horse every day means you "cared" for it. Secondly, the washing action in the stables does nothing, it is solely for role-play actions. They've also recently overhauled the whole of Silverglade (the main part of the world). Alright, first of all, the game is only 7 years old and they actually have updated the textures once before a few years ago.
